About The Position

This position coordinates and manages statewide cost accounting and inventory programs, ensuring compliance with applicable requirements, policies, and procedures. The role involves developing and implementing evaluation tools, monitoring fiscal data and processes, and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy. The Financial Manager will oversee fiscal operations, inventory reporting, accounting systems, and staff, while providing analysis, guidance, and recommendations to leadership.

Requirements

  • 66 months of experience or training in financial administration.
  • OR Completion of undergraduate core program in public or business administration, accounting, finance or related field; 42 months of experience or training in financial administration.
  • OR Completion of graduate core program in public or business administration, accounting, finance or related field; 30 months of experience or training in financial administration.
  • OR 12 months of experience as Financial Program Manager, 66585.
  • OR Equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
  • Successful completion of the Fiscal Academy may be substituted for 4 months of required accounting/fiscal experience.
