About The Position
Mayvin is seeking a Financial Management Specialist to support a broader mission within a Federal Law Enforcement agency in Washington, D.C., by providing expert administrative and financial support. Must be a U.S. Citizen. Must have an active Secret Clearance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant financial management experience
- Experience working with Federal financial systems (e.g., Momentum) including fund execution, invoice tracking, and ULO management
- Proven ability to prepare clear written guidance and present budget or technical information to diverse audiences
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must have an active Secret Clearance.
Nice To Haves
- Prior Financial Management experience supporting a Government Agency
Responsibilities
- Monitor and track the status of acquisition
- Conducts fund execution and tracks contract invoicing, and Unliquidated Obligation (ULO)
- Communicate Federal budget requirements, Congressional actions, and relevant policies to supervisors and managers
- Apply generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
- Prepare documents and justifications related to contracting, travel, and equipment
- Write guidelines and instructive information for users and reports that succinctly summarize information on budget and program requirements
