Requirements

10+ years of experience in fiscal and data analysis, budgeting, and project management within the DoD
Knowledge of the budget execution process at the Service or Department level
Ability to synthesize data and configure dashboards for executive leadership within a data analytics platform
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance
Certified Defense Financial Manager Certification

Nice To Haves

3+ years of experience with data analytics in the Advana or similar platform
Master's degree in Accounting
DoD FM Certification

Responsibilities

Advise on using business intelligence data for predictive analytics and facilitating implementation of new tools within Advana or a similar data analytics platform.
Administer quantitative and qualitative modeling techniques to data through customer coordination, supporting end-to-end development of reporting and decision making applications for the DoW Comptroller.
Advise Data Engineers and Developers to assist with analytical best practices for data collection, aggregation, normalization, and analysis.
Analyze and process data to develop important financial management insights.
Mentor and provide guidance to fellow team members.
Provide business clients with detailed, actionable reports documenting the findings from data processing and data analysis for DoW financial management and budget execution.
