Financial Education Coordinator

About The Position

The Financial Education Coordinator works closely with the Affinity Group Lenders and designated Small Business Lenders to ensure that clients who have received microloans ($50,000 or less) are increasing their financial capacity through regular follow-up meetings, educational workshops, individual and group support. Connect clients with appropriate resources and assists in the determination of eligibility for a variety of public and private programs. Assists clients with the development of personalized financial action plans and assists them in the achievement of their financial goals including progressive access to other Finanta loan fund and credit union products.

Requirements

  • Experience working with clients who have received microloans.
  • Ability to conduct follow-up meetings, educational workshops, and provide individual/group support.
  • Skill in connecting clients with appropriate resources.
  • Proficiency in determining eligibility for public and private programs.
  • Experience in assisting clients with financial action plans.
  • Ability to support clients in achieving financial goals.
  • Familiarity with loan fund and credit union products.
