About The Position

The Financial Education Coordinator works closely with the Affinity Group Lenders and designated Small Business Lenders to ensure that clients who have received microloans ($50,000 or less) are increasing their financial capacity through regular follow-up meetings, educational workshops, individual and group support. Connect clients with appropriate resources and assists in the determination of eligibility for a variety of public and private programs. Assists clients with the development of personalized financial action plans and assists them in the achievement of their financial goals including progressive access to other Finanta loan fund and credit union products.

Requirements

• Experience working with Affinity Group Lenders and Small Business Lenders.
• Experience ensuring clients increase financial capacity.
• Experience with microloans ($50,000 or less).
• Experience with regular follow-up meetings, educational workshops, and individual/group support.
• Experience connecting clients with appropriate resources.
• Experience determining eligibility for public and private programs.
• Experience assisting clients with personalized financial action plans.
• Experience assisting clients in achieving financial goals.
• Experience with progressive access to loan fund and credit union products.
