At Bank of America, this role supports moderately complex operations processes related to credit disputes, escalations, and tax reporting. The work includes analysis, research, reconciliation, reporting data validation, and resolving issues and customer requests that may carry elevated enterprise risk. The analyst handles transaction processing, reconciliations, and research requests involving clients, consumer reporting agencies, or taxing authorities, consulting with management for support as needed. The role performs Global Markets client outreach for tax, regulatory, and remediation documentation requests, including monitoring and tracking outreach progress and reporting metrics. It follows established procedures and guidelines, provides standard reporting and analytical support, and uses established techniques to resolve moderately complex operational problems, including transactions requiring special or exception handling. The analyst navigates multiple systems to respond to client inquiries, monitors outreach emails, follows up with clients who have not responded or are out of office, and provides weekly metrics and status updates to Senior Operations Management. The position may manage projects or the introduction of new initiatives, systems, products, services, and processes, coordinating expertise across operations functions or products. As a technical expert, the analyst may also provide informal work direction and technical guidance to less experienced employees handling escalations or operational problems. Bank of America describes its workplace as committed to an in-office culture, with role-specific flexibility based on responsibilities and business needs.
