About The Position

I'm partnering with a global organization seeking a Financial Analyst who enjoys solving business problems, digging into data, and partnering with stakeholders to understand the "why" behind financial results. This isn't a highly technical reporting position. I'm looking for someone who enjoys investigating margin fluctuations, working directly with business leaders, and helping drive better decision-making through financial analysis.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
3+ years of Financial Analysis experience
Strong margin analysis experience
SAP experience within finance, accounting, or FP&A
Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
Strong communication and stakeholder-facing experience
Self-starter who can take direction and run independently

Nice To Haves

Power BI experience
ERP experience beyond SAP
Experience mentoring junior analysts
Manufacturing, agriculture, distribution, or operations finance experience

Responsibilities

Analyze margin performance and identify root causes of fluctuations
Research variances related to cost, rebates, pricing, freight, and operational drivers
Partner with operations and finance leaders across North America
Support budgeting, forecasting, and month-end financial activities
Develop financial reporting and business insights
Work with SAP, Power BI, and Excel to support reporting and decision-making
Respond to financial inquiries from regional stakeholders
Support ongoing financial transformation and data harmonization initiatives
