The Financial Crime Risk Senior Investigator conducts end-to-end investigations of various higher complexity and sensitivity through analysis of evidence gathered for both internal and external investigations. This includes authority in applying reasonable grounds to suspect money laundering/terrorist financing, mitigating, and disrupting financial crime by recommending accounts for demarket and/or freezing by the appropriate investigative unit. This is an expert-level professional role requiring in-depth knowledge and expertise in its field of specialty, with working knowledge of broader related areas. The role integrates the broader organizational context into advice and solutions within its area, understands the industry, competition, and factors that differentiate the organization, and impacts a range of functional programs across its own and related teams. The investigator interprets guidelines, standards, policies, and analysis results to inform decision-making at senior levels, builds stakeholder alignment in leading projects and activities, and works independently as the senior technical lead while guiding others within the area of expertise. They identify and lead problem resolution for complex issues at all levels.
