This role involves conducting investigative analysis for financial crime risks, including Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Sanctions/ABAC (Anti-Bribery and Corruption), and general Financial Crime investigations. The investigator will collect, assess, and collate case file information, perform data analysis to identify patterns and anomalies, and initiate investigations in response to emerging risks. The position also involves assisting with reviewing court orders (subpoenas) and coordinating investigations with law enforcement agencies. Additionally, the role may include preparing and delivering training on financial crime topics to bank employees and other agencies. The investigator will also lead work streams for medium-scale projects, manage confidential information, conduct reporting and analysis, and protect the organization by identifying and managing risks. The role requires staying updated on emerging trends and regulatory requirements, maintaining a culture of risk management, and providing guidance to other team members. Collaboration within the team, knowledge sharing, and contributing to a positive and equitable work environment are also key aspects of the position.
