About The Position
As a Financial Counselor I, you will play a vital role in helping patients and their families navigate the financial aspects of their care. This includes providing clear explanations of billing processes, assisting with insurance verification, and creating a welcoming, informed experience during what can often be a stressful time.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of Patient Financial Services Orientation program and required annual education.
- Minimum of 2 years in a financial, business office, or customer service environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong typing skills.
- At least 1 year of PC/Windows experience required.
