About The Position

Scarlett Group is seeking a hands-on Financial Controller to lead and modernize its financial operations. Reporting to the President/CEO, the Controller owns accounting accuracy, financial reporting, forecasting, cash management, compliance, internal controls, and financial operating discipline. The role is Scarlett Group’s primary finance partner with Lyra Technology Group and is responsible for building a scalable, self-sufficient finance function that meets Lyra’s reporting requirements, provides timely and actionable insight, protects cash and margin, and supports profitable growth across the company’s service lines. The finance function is lean, so the position combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution. The Controller oversees consolidated and service-line financial performance; full-cycle accounting and controls; monthly close and Lyra reporting; budgeting, forecasting, and cash management; financial KPIs and business insight; finance systems and data integrity; compliance and risk; and the development of the finance team. The role works closely with the President/CEO, practice leaders, Operations, Sales, Service Delivery, Advanced Services, Human Resources, and Lyra support teams. The position is hybrid and based in Jacksonville, Florida. Target on-target earnings are $125,000–$135,000.

  • Build, mentor, and develop the finance team; foster accuracy, accountability, urgency, collaboration, confidentiality, and continuous improvement.
  • Document core processes and cross-train responsibilities to reduce single-person dependency and strengthen business continuity.
