About The Position

The Financial Controller will direct and evaluate the operations of the accounting and financial departments to ensure organizational efficiency and regulatory compliance. This role involves establishing and implementing financial policies, internal control systems, and procedures to safeguard company assets. The Controller will coordinate the budget process, including financial planning, expenditure control, and detailed variance analysis. Responsibilities also include overseeing the preparation of financial statements, summaries, and cost-benefit reports, managing and mentoring the financial team, and monitoring financial data to identify trends and recommend improvements. Maintaining accurate financial records for audit readiness is also a key aspect of this role.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration or equivalent experience
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
  • Postgraduate diploma or professional certification in a related field is an asset.

Responsibilities
