About The Position

Dental Choice is seeking an experienced Controller to join our growing organization. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Controller will lead a team of six accounting professionals and oversee all financial operations, including financial reporting, cash flow management, payroll, banking relationships, acquisitions, compliance, and process improvements. This is an excellent opportunity for a strategic and hands-on finance leader who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance.
CPA designation required.
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Controller, Director of Finance, or similar leadership role.
Strong experience in financial reporting, cash flow management, payroll, and budgeting.
Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP.
Experience with ERP/accounting systems; NetSuite experience is an asset, experience with acquisitions.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively in a team-focused environment.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor the Accounting Team.
Oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls.
Manage cash flow forecasting, treasury functions, and banking relationships.
Prepare monthly financial statements and financial analysis.
Support clinic acquisitions, due diligence, and integrations.
Monitor financial KPIs and provide recommendations to improve profitability.
Develop and improve financial systems, processes, and automation.
Manage relationships with banks, external accountants, vendors, and joint venture partners.
Participate in strategic planning and support the CEO and Senior Leadership Team.
