Financial Controller

H2 Analytics
CA$100,000 - CA$130,000Hybrid

About The Position

H2 Analytics is a high-growth, mission-focused technology company that partners with military, national security, law enforcement, and other mission-driven organizations to improve readiness. As the company scales, the finance function needs to evolve from early-stage operations into a more structured, automated, and scalable capability. This role will establish the financial architecture, systems, and operating rhythm needed to support H2 Analytics through its next stage of growth, including global expansion, institutional financing, board reporting, and potential corporate development activity. The Controller will play a central role in building and scaling the finance function, owning core accounting, reporting, financial operations, internal controls, and finance systems. The goal is to move towards a more automated, data-driven, and strategically useful finance model. This position is for someone who enjoys ownership, ambiguity, and building practical systems from the ground up, combining strong accounting fundamentals with sound business judgment and operational discipline. The role offers significant room to shape both the finance function and the individual's career path, with mentorship from the CFO and exposure to board materials, investor relations, institutional financing, and corporate development. The intent is for this person to grow into broader finance leadership responsibilities.
