Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics or equivalent field
3+ years of relevant and progressive financial analysis and solid analytic experience
Project management or process improvement experience
Proven experience driving business performance in a high growth environment
Proven intermediate skills in MS Excel
Proven excellent written and oral communication skills; solid executive presence
Proven ability to work in a matrix environment while positively influencing other functional areas

Nice To Haves

MBA or CPA
Insurance industry or healthcare experience
Hyperion Essbase and PeopleSoft experience

Responsibilities

Interface with business leaders and build relationships in support of financial planning and performance measurement including reporting and analysis
Full ownership and support of functional areas' Operating Costs (SG&A) by acting as a partner with the business - Planning, Budgeting, Analytics, etc
Perform monthly close analysis to facilitate understanding of monthly results against the financial plan and anticipate future trends
Partner with business leaders to evaluate investment opportunities and cost savings initiatives to maximize resources and create efficiencies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in conjunction with budgeting and forecasting process, month end close and other Shared Services initiatives
Develop tools and processes to provide critical financial and operational information to Senior Management
Assist in improving identification, reporting and analysis of business level cost metrics to enable operations leaders to make informed decisions around FTE management and service commitments
Collaborate with business & shared services finance to understand and demonstrate complex concepts in ways that lead to understanding by a variety of audiences
Supporting the budgetary planning and cost management in alignment with company and segment strategic plan, especially as the organization implements critical cost containment initiatives
