About The Position

The Financial Consultant is tasked with the sale of non-deposit investment products within a banking environment for ABS Associates of New York, Inc., the wealth management division of Apple Bank. The ideal candidate will consistently achieve monthly and ongoing production objectives. This role requires a highly motivated individual who demonstrates strong sales and service orientation, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with both branch personnel and bank clients.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum of 2 years of sales experience as a financial consultant.
Must possess current NYS Life, Accident & Health license,
FINRA Series 7, 63, and series 65 or 66 required.
Excellent time management and communication skills required.
Self-motivated with ability to work independently.

Nice To Haves

Banking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Achieve or surpass established sales targets.
Lead branch sales meetings, briefings, and motivational sessions.
Execute continuous and consistent sales-generating activities, including outbound calls and appointment scheduling.
Provide training programs for all branch employees.
Engage daily with prospective clients.
Uphold exemplary customer service standards, with the ability to explain investment concepts clearly and concisely to potential clients.
Participate in ongoing sales and product training sessions.
Maintain effective working relationships with branch personnel.
Hold weekly meetings with Branch Managers across the assigned territory.
Fulfil additional responsibilities as required.
