About The Position

International is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, interpreting, and implementing financial concepts to enhance financial planning and control within the organization. You will perform in-depth technical analysis to evaluate current and future financial performance, providing valuable insights that drive strategic decision-making. Your expertise will contribute to crafting comprehensive financial plans, assessing acquisition activities, forecasting future requirements, and analyzing operating forecasts. Additionally, you will conduct economic research to assess investment opportunities, evaluate financial metrics, and understand the impact of governmental regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of finance experience OR Master's degree and at least 1 year of finance experience OR At least 5 years of finance experience
• Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.

• Strong financial planning and analysis (FP&A) expertise, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, headcount planning, and capital versus operating expense management with a high attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex financial data, identify trends and risks, and provide actionable recommendations that support business and technology objectives.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present financial results and insights to stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including senior leadership, as well as translate complex financial concepts, models, and data into clear, concise, and decision-oriented reports, presentations, and executive summaries.
• Strong business partnership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across Finance, Accounting, IT, and operational teams.
• Advanced Excel, PowerBI and data analysis skills; ability to work efficiently with large, complex data sets through SQL or other means of advanced data analysis.
• Self-motivated and proactive individual who can work independently, manage competing priorities, and drive results with minimal supervision.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to develop creative solutions to financial and operational challenges.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and project management skills, with a proven ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, as well as comfortable working with financial reporting systems, business intelligence tools, and large data sets is preferred.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to financial controls and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Support the annual financial planning and forecasting cycle for the IT organization, including the Strategic Plan, Operating Plan, and monthly forecast updates.
• Prepare, consolidate, analyze, and communicate IT financial results, forecasts, and key performance indicators for monthly financial reviews and annual budget planning processes.
• Coordinate and oversee the work assignments, development, and performance of Finance & Accounting Leadership Development (FALD) program rotational analyst and summer interns supporting the IT Finance team.
• Manage the preparation, calculation, and communication of annual IT cost allocations to business units, ensuring accuracy and alignment with approved allocation methodologies.
• Prepare Business Cases to assess financial viability of new project requests
• Lead financial and operational improvement initiatives to streamline processes, enhance reporting capabilities, strengthen internal controls, and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of IT financial management.
• Partner with IT leaders, project managers, accounting teams, and business stakeholders to provide financial analysis, support decision-making, and ensure effective management of operating and capital expenditures.
• Prepare ad hoc analyses as required
