Requirements

High school diploma; college degree preferred
5-7 years applicable experience, preferably in the insurance industry [at a brokerage or provider organization]
Active state specific Life & Health Insurance agent’s license required or the ability to acquire license within three months of hire
Key skills for effective client consulting include a solid grasp of insurance principles to meet strategic needs, strong client management to prioritize and deliver impactful solutions, and sharp analytical abilities to identify and resolve issues efficiently

Responsibilities

Provides Financial/Clinical consulting to clients with respect to their employee benefit health and welfare plans
Responsible for presenting financial/clinical data to clients
Runs and Analyzes client monthly financial reporting (MFSR) and presents MFSRs to clients
Provides complex reporting, presenting results to clients
Participates in development of financial reporting enhancements
Assists in development of new CLUE reporting
Takes prominent role in the development and enhancements of new and existing client budget, financial and clinical analysis and tools
Builds and maintains Financial/Clinical models to support client account teams; mentors and trains junior staff, as necessary
Recommends complex strategic and tactical initiatives based upon clinical and financial data
