Requirements

Associate’s degree in business, accounting, or a related field. Applicable work experience and/or military experience may be substituted for education at the rate of two years of experience for one year of education.
Three years of experience related to financial planning, coaching, or consulting.
Demonstrated proficient verbal and written communication skills.
Strong active listening skills, including the ability to ask probing questions, understand concerns, and address objections to achieve desired outcomes.
Ability to meet established performance standards on an ongoing basis.
Ability to maintain proficient knowledge of TFCU products and services.
Strong financial assessment and guidance skills.
Exceptional organizational skills to effectively prioritize assignments and projects.

Credit union experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver personalized, one‑on‑one financial coaching to members and non‑members, supporting individuals with budgeting, money management, credit education, savings strategies, and informed financial decision‑making.
Assessing financial situations, identifying goals and challenges, and developing actionable plans that promote improved financial behavior, stability, and overall wellness.
Coordinate coaching sessions, manage scheduling and communications, maintain accurate and confidential documentation, track outcomes, and refer individuals to internal departments or community resources as needed.
Creating and maintaining financial wellness content, including articles, videos, and curriculum, and collaborate across teams to support individualized coaching and broader Financial Wellness initiatives through scalable content and consistent messaging.
