PT Financial Coach (Contractor) - DOMINICAN REPUBLIC
About The Position
My Secure Advantage (MSA) is seeking part-time Financial Coaches based in the Dominican Republic for a remote, contractor role. MSA is a US-based financial wellness leader with over 35 years of experience, providing impartial financial education and coaching to employees of major global companies. The role involves delivering 30-minute virtual coaching sessions to employees, focusing on topics such as debt payoff, credit improvement, savings, retirement contributions, and increasing discretionary income. Coaches will be paid in USD, with no sales or product pushing involved, focusing solely on education and impact.
Requirements
- 5-years of experience in financial coaching, financial planning, or personal finance education
- Familiarity with financial systems in the Dominican Republic
- Working knowledge across budgeting, debt management, credit, retirement, investing, insurance, and/or home buying (depth in several is more valuable than shallow across all)
- The ability to explain financial concepts in plain, understandable language
- Fluency in English (spoken and written) and Spanish
- Moderate technical proficiency — able to independently use a computer, basic software applications, and a CRM system to document sessions
- Reliable high-speed internet and a quiet, professional space to conduct sessions
- Warmth, empathy, and professionalism — you'll be talking to people about money, which is deeply personal
Nice To Haves
- Certification in financial coaching or planning (CFP, CPA, CFA, licensed financial planner/bank wealth manager, or similar)
- Experience coaching across diverse populations and financial backgrounds
Responsibilities
- Conduct 30-minute one-on-one virtual coaching sessions with members
- Cover a variety of financial topics, including but not limited to budgeting, debt reduction, credit management, retirement planning, investment education, insurance basics, and home buying.
- Provide unbiased education (MSA sells no financial products, and neither do you in this role)
- Tailor each session to the member's goals, situation, and starting point
- Briefly document topics covered after each session
- Maintain member confidentiality at all times
