About The Position
The Financial Audit Analyst has a fundamental understanding of concepts, practices and procedures related to Delegation Oversight. This function supports the Financial Audit Management in completing varied tasks that may be more challenging than a typical request. The Financial Audit Analyst contributes to the Delegation Oversight team in a support capacity, which includes the following: Oversight and ownership of Annual/Pre-Delegation audit coordination and completion. Works closely with internal and external stakeholders. Case file compilation and quality review. Quality assurance review of regulatory and annual audit universe of data.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience.
- 1+ years' experience in the area of regulatory insurance, accreditation and delegation oversight.
- Proficient in various programs, including, but not limited to Microsoft Windows, Word, Office, and Excel.
- Ability to research, analyze, and track audit results.
- Working knowledge of basic regulatory frameworks, general regulatory and internal control requirements as well as industry knowledge in all aspects of delegation oversight.
- Excellent abilities in analyzing and synthesizing complex information.
- Strong verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills required.
- Ability to work well in a team environment, but also capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Individual must be comfortable identifying regulatory, legal and/or business risks and facilitating the implementation of measures to mitigate and/or remediate such risks.
- Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the health insurance industry.
- If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
