Reporting to the Operations F&A team - which supports the SVP Operations units - the Financial Assistant will support the department in performing financial tasks. The Financial Assistant provides day-to-day financial oversight and guidance over business operations and Yale's policies to assigned units. Monitors, controls, and maintains financial activity of all accounts. Monitors and researches all expenditures, ensuring that all are posted to proper accounts. Reconciles and analyzes financial statements and assists with budget preparation, quarterly forecasts, and other ad hoc analysis. Assists with implementation of procedures, clerical functions incidental to accounting activities - process/prepare cash sales, journal entries, expense reports, invoices, supplier invoice requests, compliance documents, and other projects as assigned.
