About The Position

Dairy Fresh Farms is a family-owned company with over 50 years of operations throughout Western Washington and Oregon. We specialize in milk and ice cream delivery to grocery stores and local convenience stores. We are immediately hiring for a Financial and Pricing Analyst to join our team in our Olympia, WA headquarters. The Financial and Pricing Analyst provides pricing strategy, financial analysis, profitability modeling, and revenue optimization initiatives across the organization. This role partners with sales, operations, and executive leadership to develop pricing models, analyze market trends, improve margins, and support strategic decision-making through data-driven insights. The ideal candidate combines strong financial modeling skills with business acumen, analytical leadership, and experience managing pricing frameworks in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in insights, analytics, category management, or related role leveraging data in CPG, retail, or foodservice environments.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, procurement, and operations teams
  • Strong communicator who can present pricing insights clearly to internal stakeholders
  • Experience in retail/CPG and/or foodservice environments.
  • Demonstrated experience interpreting pricing and promotional activity
  • Strong data analysis and organizational skills with the ability to interpret and communicate market and category trends.
  • Proficiency in Excel including pricing models and financial functions
  • Proven ability to synthesize complex data into clear, strategic insights and recommendations.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to partner across functions.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain data integrity, and adapt to evolving business needs.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting senior leaders and influencing strategy through insights.
  • Category management support, shopper insights, or account management experience.
  • Experience working with data management systems to pull and analyze data such as DSD Manager.
  • Familiarity with innovation, portfolio strategy, or commercialization analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Leads advanced analysis and interpretation of Sales and Costs data to assess market dynamics, category performance, pricing, and promotional effectiveness.
  • Monitor pricing KPIs and identify opportunities for revenue optimization
  • Support budgeting and forecasting with pricing assumptions and scenario analysis
  • Ensure pricing compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements
  • Develop best practices on assessing customer profitability and business impact
  • Develop profitability and margin analysis by product, customer, or business unit
  • Input Customer Promotional Calendars and New/Existing SKU’s
