About The Position

The Financial Analytics Developer will create reports, data visualizations and analytical solutions that deliver actionable information to business leaders. He/she will primarily utilize the PowerBI analytics and visualization platform to create, deploy and maintain reusable analytical solutions. He/she will analyze and troubleshoot user issues resulting from the use of analytical solutions developed. He/she will champion the process of redesigning reports that are manual today and deploying them into the PowerBI self-service framework to allow end users to access and use the information on demand.

Requirements

3 to 5 years of experience in business analytics and performing quantitative and qualitative analytics, preferably in the healthcare industry.
1 to 2 years of experience working with advanced features in PowerBI.
Demonstrated knowledge of best practices in data visualization.
Experience modeling, wrangling and interpreting large data sets to inform decision-making, leveraging tools such as PowerBI Prep or Python.
Excellent communication skills along with the ability to work with business leaders and technical teams to gather business needs and turn them into technical requirements.
Self-motivated, self-directed and attentive to detail.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience working with healthcare (operational /financial) data and healthcare EMR systems (Epic, Clarity, Caboodle) highly preferred.
Product management experience a plus.
Epic Caboodle and Clarity certifications desirable.
