This role is for an Analytics Application Developer within the HIS Analytics Data Developer team. The impact you'll make includes leading healthcare analytics software solutions for HIS products and clients, collaborating within an agile team of engineers and developers. You will implement enterprise-scale application and reporting solutions, determine the design, coding, and delivery of Solventum HIS products and customer solutions, and support Solventum HIS product development for customers across the US and globally, working closely with other teams to deliver data-driven products.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science or related field
Three (3) years of experience in software development.
Hands-on experience with BI tools, preferably Amazon QuickSight, through academic projects, internships, or early professional work.
Familiarity with AWS cloud services such as S3, Athena, Redshift, or RDS, and how they integrate with BI tools for data visualization and reporting.
Strong internship or co-op experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or dashboard development, demonstrating practical application of data storytelling.
Proficiency in SQL and data modeling concepts, with the ability to transform raw data into meaningful insights.
Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used in data development (e.g., Python).

Nice To Haves

Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail, with a passion for creating clean, user-friendly dashboards that support business decision-making.
Ability to troubleshoot and research data and reporting issues.
Work experience with healthcare data and healthcare related security concepts.
Strong communicator, possessing interpersonal skills and judgment in order to interact effectively with a broad spectrum of people, both individually and in groups.
Highly motivated and a self-starter.
