About The Position

The Financial Analytics Developer creates reports, data visualizations, and analytical solutions that provide actionable information to business leaders. The role primarily uses Power BI to create, deploy, and maintain reusable analytical solutions; analyzes and troubleshoots user issues involving those solutions; and leads the redesign of manual reports for deployment in a Power BI self-service framework, enabling end users to access and use information on demand.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in business analytics and quantitative and qualitative analytics; healthcare industry experience is preferred.
• 1 to 2 years of experience working with advanced Power BI features.
• Demonstrated knowledge of data visualization best practices.
• Experience modeling, wrangling, and interpreting large data sets to inform decision-making, using tools such as Power BI Prep or Python.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with business leaders and technical teams to gather business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail.
• Master’s degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or Business Analytics), with a focus on Business Analytics.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience working with healthcare operational or financial data and healthcare EMR systems such as Epic, Clarity, or Caboodle is highly preferred.
• Product management experience is a plus.
• Epic Caboodle and Clarity certifications are desirable.

Responsibilities
