About The Position

The Analytics Developer creates reports, data visualizations, and analytical solutions that deliver actionable information to business leaders. The role primarily uses the Tableau analytics and visualization platform to create, deploy, and maintain reusable analytical solutions, and analyzes and troubleshoots user issues arising from their use. The Analytics Developer also champions the redesign of currently manual reports and their deployment into Tableau’s self-service framework so end users can access and use information on demand.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in business analytics and quantitative and qualitative analytics, preferably in the healthcare industry.
• Master’s degree required.
• 1–2 years of experience working with advanced features in Power BI.
• Demonstrated knowledge of data visualization best practices.
• Experience modeling, wrangling, and interpreting large data sets to inform decision-making.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with business leaders and technical teams to gather business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail.

Nice To Haves

• Experience writing scripts to automate business processes using MS Power Automate, Python, or other tools.
• Previous experience working with healthcare operational or financial data and healthcare EMR systems such as Epic, Clarity, or Caboodle.
• Epic Caboodle and Clarity certifications.
• Project management or Scrum Master experience.
• Experience developing applications that include data input or SQL writeback using React Framework or a similar toolset.

Responsibilities

• Create reports, data visualizations, and analytical solutions that provide actionable information to business leaders.

• Analyze and troubleshoot user issues resulting from the use of developed analytical solutions.
