Job Description Supports the financial planning and analysis functions for consumer and small business credit card portfolios in U.S. Bank’s Payments business. Primary responsibilities include monthly forecasting, completing annual plan, financial reporting, portfolio analytics, month-end close, and ad hoc projects. Also develops and maintains spreadsheets and statistical models for financial analysis. Uses complex financial models to complete forecasts and perform other analysis. Provides detailed variance explanations to management. Works closely with other areas within Finance or U.S. Bank to manage portfolio profitability. Strong communication skills are required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Typically two or more years of related experience

  • Basic knowledge in financial analysis, forecasting, and planning
  • Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to analyze data

Responsibilities
