About The Position

The contractor manages the Facility Information Management System (FIMS) with direct coordination of the Real Property Asset Management Program (RPAM) Manager. Analyst will routinely review, analyze, reconcile, cost report, and maintain source documentation for FIMS Data elements of all assigned U. S. Department of Energy (DOE) Owned Buildings, Trailers, OSF’s, Leases, Land, Bridges, GSA Leased assets, and Archived assets. This position should be familiar with DOE Maintenance, Facility Management, and Requirements for Bridge Inspections.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in finance or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience is preferred
  • Microsoft Office and Adobe application proficiency
  • Experience working in support of finance activities using Government budgetary methods, practices, procedures, regulations, policies, processes, and tools
  • Ability to make oral presentations on aspects of the research budget
  • Experience with Government reimbursable funding processes
  • Experience with automated data processing software described above
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Exceptional interpersonal and teambuilding skills
  • Ability to adapt and excel in a fast-paced government organization

  • Familiarity with DOE Maintenance, Facility Management, and Requirements for Bridge Inspections.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as authority for preparing FIMS validation for the ORO CSC down trace.
  • Reconciles and submits the FIMS to STARS Financial capitalization reports.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in FIMS, Condition Assessment Information System (CAIS), Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) software, Microsoft Office, and ReSched.
  • Collects, analyzes, and reconciles Operating Cost allocation for FY reporting to support the Federal Real Property Profile submission.
  • Collects, analyzes, and reconciles Modernization Costs, Repair Costs, and Deferred Maintenance costs for all assigned Buildings, Trailers, and OSF’s.
  • Tracks, verifies, and reports space utilization of Federal and Contractor employees as well as building square footage via site visits and building schematics.
  • Coordinates with Subject Matter Experts, collecting and ensuring source documentation is correct and within required guidelines.
  • Maintains and updates Source Documentation as required.
  • Travels and attends training seminars as needed.
  • Interacts with the public entities to process Use of Public Space Permits.
  • Assists with maintaining the conference room scheduling and calendar system.
  • Reviews and identifies requests to coordinate, track, and schedule additional set-up requirements with other departments when needed, such as Radio and Alarms, Maintenance, IT, and Janitorial Contractors.
