About The Position

This Financial Analyst 1 role supports core financial planning and analysis activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and monthly close processes for North America. You will focus on data entry and validation across multiple financial systems, assist with cost reviews and cost/benefit analyses, and help prepare clear and insightful reporting and presentations. This position offers exposure to sales processes, contractual analysis, and broader accounting and finance activities within a growing, collaborative organization.

Requirements

• Degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field that provides a foundation in financial planning, accounting, and analysis.
• 6+ months of accounting OR finance internship or experience
• Exposure to financial reporting processes, including preparation of management reports and dashboards.
• Interest in or exposure to sales processes and contractual analysis within a finance context.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of the annual budget and forecasts for cost centers and revenue by entering and validating data across financial planning systems, including replicating plans from one system (such as TM1) into another (such as SAC).
• Load and maintain portions of financial data in systems such as P20, TM1, BCS, and related platforms for actual results, quarterly forecasts, and annual budgets.
• Assist in reviewing costs and performing cost/benefit analyses to support informed business decisions.
• Contribute to month-end close activities by preparing, analyzing, reporting, and reconciling monthly actual results compared to budget, forecasts, and prior year for North America.
• Support the finance team during regular monthly and quarterly activities to help create capacity for additional analytical responsibilities.
• Prepare and update presentation decks and reports using Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel to clearly communicate financial results and insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial analysis that supports multiple business levels and drives sales and revenue.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of financial data across systems and reports.
