About The Position

The VIE Program is specifically for citizens of the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein, and Iceland) aged 18-28, allowing them to work for a Valeo subsidiary worldwide. Business France manages the administrative aspects of the VIE assignment, and applicants must meet their eligibility criteria. Applications must be submitted in English, and candidates cannot apply for a VIE assignment in their country of citizenship. This specific role is for a VIE Financial Analyst for 18 months at the Reno site in the USA, within the POWER Division, which focuses on thermal management and propulsion systems for electric mobility.

Requirements

• Graduated from a Master degree in Business/Finance/Accounting.
• Experience in this field (basic accounting knowledge).
• Fluent level of English.
• Good communication skills.
• International mindset.
• Open-minded to new cultures and new ways of working and thinking.
• Humble, listening, positive attitude oriented, professional, and have the sense of diplomacy.

Nice To Haves

• Excel, Google docs, SAP, reporting systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support reporting activities for month-end closing, forecasts, budget planning, and business plans.
• Assist with internal control roadmaps.
• Handle invoice submissions, tracking, and analysis.
• Monitor and control capital investments and operating expenses.
• Conduct specific ad-hoc financial analyses as needed.
