Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of finance, economic, and accounting principles, including financial markets, financial statements, valuation concepts, and financial data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret, manipulate, and analyze large data sets.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues, analyze information, and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to evaluate options and recommend sound approaches.
  • Demonstrated judgment and decision-making skills, considering risks and benefits to determine appropriate actions.
  • Familiarity with standard business concepts, practices, and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Develops, maintains, and delivers monthly and quarterly analyses, reports, and presentations ensuring the accuracy of the information and identifying key points.
  • Performs general ad hoc analysis of financial and operational data for trends and variances and presents findings to finance management.
  • Uses historical trend information along with changes in market and business environments to create projections used for the budgeting or forecasting processes.
  • Identifies trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to finance management.
  • Manage large data sets from disparate sources for data mining, analysis, and research project.
  • Develop financial models for what-if analysis, scenario planning, and M&A activities.
  • Works collaboratively with team members and other departments.
  • Other duties as assigned.
