About The Position

The successful candidate in this role will be responsible for accounting and financial analysis for FIT Technologies, maintaining an internal control environment that protects company property and minimizes risk, and provides support to others within the department and management as needed.

Requirements

High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook).

Responsibilities

Reconcile cash on a daily basis.
Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
Reconcile balance sheet accounts on a periodic basis.
Establish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures.
Prepare and maintain documentation for business and accounting transactions.
Analyze financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures, provide strategic recommendations, and develop solutions to business and financial problems.
Investigate variances from prior periods and expectations.
Interact with business operations to understand the underlying reasons for changes in financial results.
Create documentation for policies and procedures.
Process accounts receivable and accounts payable.
Manage cash disbursements via check, ACH, and wire.
Provide support for various special projects, as needed.
