About The Position

The Financial Analyst - Global Components FP&A role involves conducting independent analysis and interpretation of the business unit P&L and its components. This position is responsible for producing business unit reports that offer insights and conclusions based on trend analysis. The analyst will also be involved in planning and forecasting, understanding the relationships between P&L and Balance Sheet elements, and providing detailed data analysis to business unit leaders. A key part of the role includes assisting in the preparation of executive-level presentations and meetings, such as quarterly business reviews, and engaging with senior leadership on financial metrics and results.

Requirements

Typically requires a 4 year degree and a minimum of 3 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
Incumbent has knowledge and experience in own discipline and may still be acquiring higher level knowledge and skills.
Incumbent builds knowledge of the organization, processes and customers solves a range of straightforward problems, and analyzes possible solutions using standard procedures. A moderate level of guidance and direction is provided.
Incumbent has extensive knowledge and experience in own discipline, possesses strong knowledge of the organization, processes and customers, solves a range of complex problems, and analyzes possible solutions using standard procedures. Limited guidance and direction is provided.
Advanced Excel skills.

Nice To Haves

HFM or One Stream experience preferred.
Experience with Macros/VBA or Power BI/Power Query is a plus.

Responsibilities

Conduct independent analysis and interpretation of the business unit P & L and its components when requested by Finance leadership or Business.
Produce business unit reports indicating analysis and understanding of business trends, offering useful business insights/conclusions.
Understand the various elements of the P & L and B/S and their relationship and provide detailed analysis of the data to the business unit leaders.
Assist in the preparation of Executive-level presentations and meetings, such as quarterly business reviews.
Engage with Senior leadership in understanding and representing the financial metrics and results.
