About The Position

We are looking for a Financial Analyst to drive high‑quality financial planning, analysis and insight for MACS BCS Financial Reporting & Analytics. You will own key forecasting and performance routines for your unit, provide fact‑based, forward‑looking guidance to stakeholders, and orchestrate financial forecast and performance activities in line with Ericsson directives, processes and tools. This is a senior individual‑contributor role combining deep finance expertise with strong business partnering and the ability to solve complex problems and influence decisions. You will work within a collaborative team of peer Financial Analyst and Data Scientist/ Analyst professionals supporting the Americas market area.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in FP&A, controlling, or project finance accounting (preferably in a multinational environment).
  • Solid hands‑on experience with period‑end closing, forecasting and financial modeling, including scenario and risk analysis.
  • Strong skills in financial analysis, forecasting, accounting & reporting and cost management.
  • Experience with ERP/SAP or similar finance systems.
  • High proficiency in Excel and experience with data analytics / visualization; interest in automation/digitalization of reporting and planning.
  • Strong business understanding and ability to translate financials into clear, actionable insights for non‑finance stakeholders.
  • Proven stakeholder management and influencing skills; comfortable challenging and supporting senior counterparts.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking, problem‑solving and storytelling capabilities.
  • Experience working with the Ericsson Financial Model or equivalent corporate financial frameworks.
  • Experience in process improvement (Agile/scrum), automation, and digital transformation initiatives within finance.
  • Experience in managing or contributing to cross‑functional projects or programs.
  • Familiarity with governance, risk management & compliance frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive period‑end closing activities, ensuring accurate, timely reporting and insightful variance analysis.
  • Lead forecasting cycles, including business cases and scenario analysis, to support target setting and financial planning.
  • Act as a financial advisor to stakeholders, delivering prescriptive analysis and clear storylines that shape actions and decisions.
  • Work closely with MA Finance leadership to drive real-time, forward leaning insights to inform and guide decision makers.
  • Drive and participate in complex initiatives and projects, providing financial insight and challenge to support strategy execution and performance improvement.
  • Promote and advance automation and digital ways of working to improve efficiency and elevate planning and analysis capabilities (data analytics, visualization, advanced tools).
  • Ensure compliance with Ericsson financial policies, governance and relevant directives.
  • Collaborate across finance and the business to align on actions that improve financial performance and follow‑up on outcomes.
