About The Position

Select Medical Corporate Headquarters is seeking a Financial Analyst for their Outpatient division. This full-time, on-site role involves analyzing financial performance, identifying trends, and providing actionable recommendations to support strategic growth and financial health. The analyst will collaborate with clinical and operational leaders to deliver data-driven insights for revenue growth, cost management, and long-term planning, while balancing operational excellence, patient care, and financial sustainability.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Finance or a related field.
One to three years of applicable finance experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and large-scale financial systems (Oracle, PeopleSoft, SAP).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, oral and written, with all levels of the organization.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, complex, and deadline-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

Compile and analyze financial information with a focus on payment analysis, revenue, and expense trends to validate and ensure financial performance meets expectations.
Create and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement.
Provide actionable insights and supporting data to drive organizational change.
Ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness while balancing patient care and financial sustainability.
Assist with the development and analysis of operating and capital budgets.
Maintain realistic and achievable budgets.
Partner with various departments and clinical leadership to gather data and provide financial insights that support operational decisions.
