About The Position

The Product Support Sub Mission Area in the Raytheon Land and Air Defense Systems Mission Area has an exciting opportunity for Finance Analyst (P2) to manage a challenging external contract as well as responsibility for upcoming program(s). This position is an integral part of a business area portfolio of programs that currently supports external and inter-company contract related efforts. The candidate will work closely with the External Customer, Program Manager, field engineers, and functional groups including Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Contracts, etc. In this position, the candidate will be exposed to many different real world business tools such as the Estimate at Completion (EAC) process for Sarbanes Oxley compliance, AOP/LRP preparation using the RPLAN system, and the cost proposal process. The candidate will also utilize SAP – APEX and PRISM, including Business Warehouse and Analysis for Office (AO) to provide technical analysis for financial reporting of various program funding profiles, sales outlooks, billing projections, and variance analysis. This position will be an integrated part of a fast-paced finance team, where multitasking and individual initiative are key requirements. This role is being offered in a hybrid capacity (onsite/remote) and is based on the needs of the business. The preferred candidate will be located within a commutable distance to Andover, MA, Tucson, AZ or McKinney, TX. Relocation assistance is not being offered.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline & a minimum of 2 years related finance experience
  • Experience with SAP, APEX, PRISM or a similar tool
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel skills pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
  • Experience presenting and/or communicating verbally and in written form with all levels of management
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.

  • Familiarity with financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
  • Earned Value Management System (EVMS) certification
  • Knowledge of Department of Defense contracts and practices
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills and shows initiative by seeking ways to improve processes and data analysis
  • Ability to flexibly work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities while meeting critical deadlines
