We have an excellent opportunity for a Program Cost Controls Analyst professional to join our AIM-9X program Finance team. The AIM-9X program falls within the Naval Power Mission Area and has annual revenue nearing $1B of domestic and international business with exciting opportunities for future growth. In this role, you will be responsible for financial operations, collaboration, and relationship building with internal and external customers. The ideal candidate for this role will be an excellent communicator with a strong desire to learn while being challenged. Additionally the candidate will enjoy a fast-paced working environment managing competing priorities and interact with various levels of management.

Requirements

  • A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field.
  • Earned Value experience.
  • Experience with desktop computer skills, particularly in the use of the MS Office suite.
  • Experience with finance tools.
  • Experience comparing actuals vs budget and explaining variances.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

  • Experience with Estimates at Completion (EACs), Program costs & schedule tracking, proposals, and sales & rate forecasting.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the production program team specifically supporting the 2nd Sourcing effort.
  • Contribute to the successful execution of contracts by providing critical financial oversight and guidance that includes quarterly Estimates at Completion (EACs) support, contract financial forecasts and manpower forecasts.
  • Support review and forecast of Bookings, Sales, Earnings and Cash forecast to Financial Planning.
  • EV reporting, cost type cash forecasting, CDRLs, and IPMRs.
  • Support contractual earned value as well as be part of a production team.
  • Assist with AIM-9X production weekly/monthly reporting, Quarterly EACs, updates to Annual Operating Plan (AOP), forecasting and ad hoc requests.
  • Interface with Control Account Managers, Program Management, the Integrated Product Leadership Team, and ensuring compliance with financial policies.
  • Contribute to cross-functional teams with an emphasis on financial implications of team decisions and ensure finance team knowledge of program decisions.
  • Employ technical knowledge of finance and program controls, problem solving, communication and leadership skills.
  • Work independently as well as partner cross-functionally with their program team in a fast-paced environment.
