Requirements

  • BS/BA in accounting or finance
  • Demonstrated advanced to expert Excel experience and comfort with report writing software
  • Excellent communication, able to influence, coach, and explain
  • Superior attention to detail with unquestioned accuracy
  • Excellent analytical skills and business/financial acumen
  • Ability to execute projects efficiently and effectively with limited to no supervision
  • Motivated by success and achievement
  • Maintain high level of confidentiality and professionalism
  • Business experience with a financial/analytical focus in a manufacturing business

Nice To Haves

  • MBA, CPA, or CMA a plus
  • Experience with One Stream a plus

Responsibilities

  • Provide reporting and analysis of P&L, capital investments, and cash flow
  • Develop analytics around key performance indicators, weekly, monthly, quarterly, ad-hoc
  • Presentation and delivery to senior management
  • Advise management on financial impact of business cases and strategy
  • Perform variance and trend analysis on product, customer, cost, and margin on monthly, quarterly, YTD, ad-hoc basis
  • Assist with and perform month end closing, reporting, and analysis
  • Prepare and record accrual / deferral journal entries as required and necessary
  • Work with Accounting staff to identify and properly classify capital expenses
  • Assist with the preparation of financial forecasts and budgets, monthly, quarterly, annually, ad-hoc
  • Analyze, interpret, and communicate cost and expense variances to management
  • Develop and assist with departmental and business wide continuous and process improvement projects
  • Create, leverage, and deploy financial models for own use and for use by other staff; document models and processes
  • Partner with management on various projects, related data requests and financial reports to support strategic initiatives, ad-hoc other duties as required and necessary to support the business
