Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University in Accounting / Finance, with 3-5 years of professional experience
  • A high level of ambition, ownership, and drive, with a desire to contribute to a rapidly growing, innovation focused organization.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to gather, structure, interpret, and translate data into actionable insights.
  • Strong knowledge of business fundamentals and financial acumen
  • Prioritization and organization skills
  • Must have very good problem-solving ability
  • Effective communicator
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly excel
  • Bilingual (English & French)

Nice To Haves

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) / Certified Public Accountant (CPA) would be an asset
  • Background in aviation is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Drive engine cost and performance insights by building analytical models that translate operational data into clear, actionable financial intelligence.
  • Lead profitability analysis across engines, customers, and programs—delivering insights that directly shape commercial strategy and executive decision‑making.
  • Build advanced financial models to support pricing decisions, forecasting, investment analysis, and operational optimization.
  • Use AI‑powered analytics—including tools developed through FTAI’s partnership with Palantir—to combine large, complex datasets, uncover trends, and generate predictive insights that improve engine availability and financial performance.
  • Present financial results and analysis to leadership, playing a visible role in monthly and quarterly business reviews.
  • Partner with department leaders during the annual budgeting process to align forecasts, cost structures, and business objectives.
  • Analyze overhead and G&A rates, supporting cost transparency and margin improvement initiatives.
  • Lead key components of the monthly close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and performance analysis—ensuring accuracy and financial integrity.
  • Support the annual audit, collaborating with internal and external partners to ensure a smooth, efficient process.
  • Contribute to a wide range of accounting and finance initiatives, including process improvements, automation, and scalability projects.
