About The Position

The Financial Analyst will provide direct support for all Financial Planning and Analysis efforts assigned by the Dir - Finance Operations, including financial and data analysis, forecasting, job costing, pricing, etc. These tasks will be performed in support of an existing team of experienced analysts, expanding the team’s reach and for future growth from this position. This is an entry level position.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance and/or Accounting required.
Developed financial acumen through college level courses and/ or internships
Superior attention to detail
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Familiar with, or can quickly become familiar with, the company’s operations and strategy
Takes a proactive approach, is energetic and works with a sense of urgency
U.S. Persons
Must have strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
Strong communication skills with ability to communicate with all levels within the organization

Responsibilities

Provide reporting to support the continuous update of BU segment profit and loss, orders, and invoicing forecasts in conjunction with the Program Managers and Operations for all backlogged and pipeline programs.
Develop basis-of-estimates (BOEs) and pricing files for inclusion in proposals.
Partner with Program Management to establish estimates at complete (EACs) for each awarded contract, based on either pricing files or established job history.
Providing timely and actionable data to Program Managers to ensure programs remain on-track.
Support accurate reporting of actual revenue, contribution/gross margin, COS and B/S.
Analyze and articulate variances for plan/forecast vs actual.
Performs other functions as required.
