JOB OVERVIEW The Financial Analyst – Operations is a key contributor to the Operations Controls team at Lavazza North America, providing essential financial support to the West Chester manufacturing site. This role strengthens operational performance by driving accurate budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis for all manufacturing activities. The Analyst partners closely with Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to deliver insights that inform strategic and day‑to‑day decision‑making. The successful candidate combines strong analytical capability with a collaborative mindset, ensuring leadership teams have clear, timely, and actionable financial information. Key contributions include: Leading components of the budgeting and forecasting cycles. Delivering timely and accurate monthly financial reporting and variance analysis. Developing, maintaining, and improving dashboards and internal reporting tools. Providing financial insights that support operational efficiency and cost‑optimization initiatives. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, or data analytics; experience in food or manufacturing environments preferred.
  • Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new processes, systems, and tools quickly.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • High level of agility and comfort in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
  • Exceptional collaboration skills with the ability to partner across functions and interact effectively with team members at all organizational levels.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SAP ECC/HANA and Power BI strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support the preparation of annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and cost analyses for manufacturing operations.
  • Execute monthly close activities, ensuring all financial data is accurate, complete, and delivered within required timelines.
  • Develop and enhance dashboards, KPIs, and reports that improve visibility into manufacturing performance.
  • Conduct variance analysis for actuals vs. budget/forecast; partner with Operations to understand drivers and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure accurate monthly accruals in collaboration with the Accounting team.
  • Support capital investment decisions through IRR, NPV, payback period, and sensitivity analyses.
  • Collaborate with Operations Controls teams at other Lavazza sites to share best practices and advance process consistency.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline financial processes and strengthen internal controls.
  • Contribute to ad hoc financial modeling, data analysis, and cross-functional projects as business needs arise.
