Financial Analyst - International
About The Position
As the Financial Analyst, you will report to the Manager of FP&A & Reporting and support Finance, Accounting and Operations in the creation, consolidation, and management of key financial models and performance reporting. The core focus of this role is to provide financial support to cross-functional teams and analyze business data related to the international business unit. This will include monthly reporting and analysis of studio metrics, supporting the monthly review of related income statements, and assisting with the quarterly budgeting/forecast process. This role will also be cross trained as back up to help support other areas of finance as needed. The role should be comfortable in a dynamic work environment and drive continual process improvement in their areas of responsibility.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in FP&A or business analysis
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- experience with ERP systems (such as NetSuite) or BI tools (such as Power BI) preferred
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with close attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear business insights for both finance and non-finance stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- Prepare reports on revenues and operating cost variances to budgets/forecast as well as other performance indicators
- Assist with maintaining forecasting models, operating dashboards & monthly variance and trend analysis, including data collection and preparation
- Work with Accounting to understand and resolve any anomalies prior to books closing
- Meet with operation teams to discuss variance to budget and adjustments to forecast
- Create ad hoc reports through advanced use of Microsoft Excel and other Business Intelligence tool sets
- Use problem-solving skills to analyze and advise on future strategies
- Additional duties as assigned
