About The Position
Corpay is seeking a Financial Analyst Intern for its Stored Value Solutions division, part of the Corporate Payments line of business, located in Louisville, Ky. This role involves supporting the Finance and Accounting departments with general accounting duties, financial data, and analysis to help understand business direction and inform decisions. The intern will report directly to the SVP of Finance and collaborate regularly with Finance and Accounting team members.
Requirements
- Finance or accounting major with GPA 3.0+
- Self-starter requiring minimal hands-on direction
- Sound knowledge of finance and accounting principles
- Excellent quantitative/analytical skills
- Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong level of personal organizational skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Ability to handle multiple assignments promptly and effectively
- High proficiency in Excel
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of accounting and query-based systems is a plus
Responsibilities
- Supporting a variety of accounting functions: A/P, A/R, invoicing, audit compliance and all related analysis
- Supporting a variety of finance functions: data compilation, review, and analysis to meet various needs
- Providing ad hoc analysis and reporting as necessary.
