About The Position

The organization requires administrative, analytical, acquisition, and financial advisory and assistance support to accomplish the office's mission for existing and planned programs. To provide support for the successful execution of existing and new programs in the following focus areas: Strategic Explorations and Special Programs.

Requirements

  • TOP SECRET CLEARANCE
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or relate field.
  • Six (6) years of experience in a financial analyst role, including tracking technical and financial milestones.
  • Demonstrated creativity, foresight, and mature judgment in anticipating and solving problems in financial, administrative and program management.
  • Demonstrated knowledge/competence in web-based research as well as analysis using modern PC computer techniques, systems, and tools.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct quantitative analyses of information involving investment programs or financial data of public or private institutions, including valuation of businesses.
  • Generate and route Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests (MIPRs) and Purchase Requests (PRs) with attachments required for funding in accordance with Department of Defense Financial Management Regulation guidelines, Comptroller, and policies and procedures for front office and multiple Program Managers.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of each PM's portfolio, including approved programs, associated budgetary information for Congressional efforts, new initiatives, seedlings, Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR)/Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR), and all performers to respond to internal and external inquiries.
  • Produce and deliver office or program budgets based on a Government approved technical basis of estimate, information from government contracting agents, performers. and government transition partners.
  • Deliver monthly financial execution reports sufficient for the Government to maintain all budgets within their established technical, schedule and cost baselines. Financial execution reports must include forecasts, commitments, obligations and expenditures. Separate budgets and financial execution reports are required.
  • Manage the travel budget for all Government personnel. Develop and maintain a travel plan that ensures actual travel expenditures do not exceed the allocated travel budget by more than 3% annually without prior Government written approval. The travel plan, including projections and tracked expenditures, must be updated monthly and available for Government review at all times.
  • Generate and deliver custom ad hoc financial reports in response to requests and within established deadlines.
