About The Position

This position is for a Financial Analyst III supporting a Global IT team. The role involves managing monthly forecasts, annual planning, developing automated reporting capabilities, and providing performance tracking. The analyst will interface directly with regional business and finance leaders, as well as provide support to the Global IT organization. The role requires conducting independent analysis and interpretation of business unit financials, understanding the various elements of the P&L and B/S and their relationship, and providing detailed analysis of data to business unit leaders. The analyst will be a member of the Corporate FP&A team supporting IT, comfortable working with large amounts of data, and able to understand key business drivers at the macro level. Ad-hoc requests involving forecasting, variance analysis, and impromptu requests will be performed. The analyst will work and interact with different levels of the organization as well as cross-functional departments. The Analyst will work under the supervision of the Finance Manager but will be expected to work autonomously at times. As allowed by applicable law, this role may need to perform late night, weekend, or holiday coverage due to month, quarter, and year-end requirements.

Requirements

  • Requires a 4 year degree (Accounting, Finance, or related)
  • At least 4 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to consistently produce high quality analysis within tight deadlines by prioritizing, identifying roadblocks, and collaborating with colleagues and management
  • Strong financial acumen and analytics skills with a high degree of proficiency in data mining and forecasting model development
  • Strong understanding of accounting and financial processes related to the business
  • Knowledge of US GAAP Sarbanes-Oxley and internal controls
  • Strong systems knowledge such as Oracle, ERP Systems, and Business Objects
  • Solid background and experience in P&L management
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) to support the preparation and presentation of written briefs and summaries for internal communication and coordination with various departments
