About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a Financial Analyst II to join our team in Burlington or Durham, NC. This hybrid position offers a balanced schedule of three in-office workdays at our Burlington or Durham, NC locations and two remote workdays per week, supporting both collaboration and flexibility. The role involves preparing and analyzing financial reports, supporting budgeting and forecasting, conducting variance analysis, assisting with financial close activities, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and developing financial models. The position also requires ensuring compliance with internal controls, policies, and financial standards. Labcorp is a leading global life sciences company dedicated to improving health and lives through science.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• 2 or more years of experience in financial analysis or a related role
• Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across teams
• Adapt to a fast-paced office environment with extended periods of desk/computer work

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
• Professional certification such as CPA or CFA
• Experience with financial planning tools and ERP systems

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes
• Conduct variance analysis and explain significant deviations
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and interpret financial data
• Develop and maintain financial models to support business initiatives
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and financial standards
