About The Position

At Corporate Planning and Reporting (CPR) you will become part of the finance team that is responsible for the financials of our segment Trucks North America. We are the link between all of DTNAs business units, global Daimler Truck HQ and the external capital market – in your new role, you will work with the chassis warranty process, and coordinate with stakeholders across the organization to offer a financial perspective to drive quality & warranty topics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Finance, or a related business function.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work with large data sets and summarize findings clearly.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Curiosity, ownership mindset, and willingness to learn financial systems and business processes.
  • Strong and problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Work independently within guidelines and policies to solve problems of moderate complexity.

Responsibilities

  • Lead monthly reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and planning activities for Warranty EBIT, provisions, and related financial metrics.
  • Analyze financial and operational results, including warranty expenditures, provisions, trends, variances, risks, and performance drivers.
  • Support quarterly balance sheet provision reviews and business performance steering activities.
  • Coordinate chassis and powertrain rate planning processes, including assumptions, calculations, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Prepare financial reports, KPI dashboards, management presentations, and executive reporting packages.
  • Collaborate with quality, accounting, finance, IT, and business stakeholders to support planning, reporting, and decision-making.
  • Consolidate and validate financial data and assumptions from multiple functional teams.
  • Maintain data integrity within SAP, Tagetik, Data Warehouse, and related reporting systems.
  • Perform reconciliations, quality checks, and reporting validation to ensure accuracy.
  • Support system enhancements, testing, process documentation, and reporting improvements.
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis and business insights to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Drive continuous improvement through process standardization, automation, analytics, and AI-enabled solutions.
