About The Position

beBright is seeking a motivated and analytical Financial Analyst II to support key initiatives across Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Business Development, and AI-driven reporting and analytics. This cross-functional role builds the analysis and reporting that help leaders make data-driven decisions related to financial performance, organizational growth, operational efficiency, and emerging technologies. The ideal candidate enjoys working with data, solving business problems, and partnering with leaders across multiple departments. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to strategic growth initiatives while developing the reporting tools, dashboards, and AI-enabled insights that support the future of the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in financial analysis, business analytics, FP&A, or a related analytical role.
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, financial modeling, and data analysis.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Good communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
• Highly collaborative with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with NetSuite, SQL, or data visualization platforms is a plus.
• Exposure to AI tools, automation platforms, or reporting technologies is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with annual budgets, financial forecasts, variance analysis, and financial planning activities.
• Build and maintain financial models that support operational and strategic decision-making.
• Analyze financial performance trends and help identify opportunities to improve profitability and efficiency.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages for leadership.
• Support business development through market analysis, growth modeling, due diligence, and practice acquisition analysis.
• Collaborate with operational teams to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and develop insights that help leaders evaluate new opportunities.
• Help build metrics, KPIs, and dashboards in partnership with leadership, and support automated reporting and business intelligence.
• Support AI-related data work and perform ad hoc analyses that provide actionable insights across departments.
