About The Position

Tampa Family Health Centers is seeking a Financial Analyst II to join our Finance team at our Corporate Center on Fletcher Avenue. This is a fully on-site position requiring regular collaboration with Finance leadership and departments throughout the organization. The Financial Analyst II will support financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and strategic decision-making by analyzing financial, payer, and operational data. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, and comfortable presenting financial findings and recommendations to leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Two to four years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a similar role.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with an on-site team.
  • Ability to work full-time on-site at the Fletcher Corporate Center.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • CPA, CFA, or CMA certification.
  • Healthcare, managed care, payer, or Federally Qualified Health Center experience.
  • Experience with ERP systems, Epic reporting tools, SQL, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement and Uniform Data System reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial statements, reimbursement activity, operational data, and market trends.
  • Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and conduct variance analysis.
  • Identify opportunities to improve revenue, reduce costs, and increase operational efficiency.
  • Gather, validate, and integrate financial data from multiple systems and departments.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with Finance leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Support annual budgeting, periodic forecasting, and special financial projects.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and protect confidential financial information.
